Small Groups

Wendesday Evening Bible Study - 7:00 pm
While study topics are wide, interesting and varied (e.g. Exploration of the Holy Land, Faith and Films, Books of the Bible), the “benchmarks” of this small group are: celebrating special days, sharing joys and concerns, and supporting each other in life’s ups and downs. Newcomers are always welcome!

Friday Morning Bible Study – 10:00 am
This small group is open to “beginners” as well as to those who have been studying the Bible for years. The study is designed to help answer these questions: What does the Bible say and mean to the church, the world, and me? What does the Bible mean? Participants purchase their own study booklets and covenant to spend approximately an hour on homework each week.

Faith Leader
Faith Leader is designed to develop spiritual leaders through a 26-week small group experience where participants explore their spiritual gifts, practice a variety of spiritual disciplines, discern God’s call for their lives, and put into action their own personal plan for ministry. Two overnight retreats are part of the Faith Leader program. Each fall, a new Faith Leader group is formed. To be placed on the Faith Leader waiting list, see Pastor Helen or Pastor Mark. (Go to www.faithleader.org for more information.)

Book Bunch
Participants gather monthly to discuss a pre-selected book. Occasional outings to restaurants help build a sense of community. All are welcome to “drop in” or to become a "regular."

Families Having Fun
Families with children gather several times throughout the year for intergenerational activities such as hayrides, Easter egg hunts, swimming parties, Super Bowl parties, and parents’ night out.
